Photo shooting in my pjs ..... to be exact.
If I'm being completely honest with you, I've always felt a little weird whenever it comes to a photoshoot because I never know how to pose or what facial expressions to give.
But as of late, I've actually found joy in photoshoots. I mean, I actually enjoy it at times. And by this, I don't mean people/professionals taking pictures of me, but me taking pictures of things as well. I guess it's because I've been doing it more often in the past 2 years.
However, if you get to know me, you'll know that I don't really care how I look in pictures. My close friends will describe me as the girl who pulls the weirdest face or the girl who always smiles with her teeth showing when it comes to taking pictures. It's completely true :D I find that those "real" moments and "real" laughs are the ones that I love the most, no matter how horrendous I look.
Anyway, I did another shoot yesterday for an upcoming collaboration and I enjoyed it a lot especially because I was in my pjs and in my own bed.
Life has been hectic lately. I didn't even realize that March is almost gone until I was filling up a form at work today. I mean, I hate the fact that I cannot take a minute to fathom how quickly time flies. And honestly speaking, I am afraid. I'm afraid of closing my eyes and missing a moment. I'm afraid I'm not spending enough time with people I care about.
But other than that, my illness is finally gone and I'm soooo ready for another break.
Hope you guys are enjoying what's left of March because I know I will.

SUNDAY FUNDAY: EXPLORING NEW CAFES (OW:L ESPRESSO SS15 REVIEW)
I want to make it my mission to visit a new cafe every Sunday.
I love exploring cozy little cafes. Honestly, it's one of
the best things ever. On Sunday, I decided to go somewhere near where I live so,
I came across OW:L Espresso cafe.
I guess the concept of this cafe is a lot similar to most
"fusion" cafes these days. Cakes, teas, waffles... etc. Even though I
find it similar to most cafes, I still find joy in spending time in a new cafe.
It's just my thing :P
Anyway, my first impression of it was "wow! That's a lot of people
for a Sunday!" However, I loved all the decor and how the layout of the
cafe was. Basically, there's a smoking area out in the balcony and inside, there are different sets of furniture to enjoy. Latest musics and nice ambiance make it even better.
The one thing I would say that took my breath away is this...........
Look at how massive that snowman cotton candy is!!
And buried within it is a bowl of chocolate and banana snowflake (bingsu) which is just gorgeous.
Of course, we enjoyed this with some peach tea, banana milkshake and latte.
Overall, I think this place is really worth the try. Absolutely loved it!

3 Things to Tell Yourself on Your Worst Days
I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say this.
Everyone will experience bad days, some more than others.
Bad days are inevitable. So, goodluck to those of you who are trying to avoid it. I, however, have tried avoiding bad days and problems, only to find out that running away from them is absolutely pointless (something I learned the hard way).
So, take it from me. It's better to face the storm than to run away from it.
If I'm being completely honest with you, February has been no picnic for me. In fact, I think it's probably one of my worst months yet considering it's only the second month of the year. 28 days seems like 50 days. And here, I thought January would be a terrible month.
But hey, enough complaining. I'm not here to ramble about how terrible my 28 days have been. I'm here to tell you that, looking back now, I'm proud of myself because I braved through everything and faced my worst days ALONE.
So, here are the 3 things I always remind myself on bad days.
1. Nothing lasts forever
Whether it's the good times or bad, nothing will ever last forever, as harsh as that may sound. All you can do is cherish the good moments and face the bad ones with your head held high and know that it won't last forever.
2. Just keep going
When a plane is going through rough winds and turbulence, it doesn't stop just because of bad weather conditions, it goes on until it reaches its destination. And so will you! Because bad days are just like rough winds.
3. Everything will be OK
Even though it may seem like your whole world is falling apart right now (trust me, I've had my fair share of days like that), truth is, it isn't. It's just a day of things not turning out how you've planned it to be. Stay positive and remind yourself that it's going to be OK.
Remember, it's not the end of the world. Keep fighting and don't you ever give up! These are the things you should do everyday: count your blessings, let go of what you can't control, just breathe.

FAVOURITE HOLIDAY OUTFIT
"Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak" - Rachel Zoe
As my previous post had stated, I was in Bangkok this time last week on a short getaway. And I just looked through my camera earlier and particularly chose my favourite outfit while I was on holiday.
A lot of people sometimes, most times actually, will not recognize me outside of work because of my appearance. Oh yeah, let me tell you - how I dress when I'm at work and how I dress when I'm out having fun are two completely different things. If you really know me in person, you'll know what I mean.
I feel like holidays are a great time to wear something I wouldn't normally wear. So, just because I wear shirts and trousers most days doesn't mean I don't like wearing crop tops and high-waisted skirts.
Ya feel? :)

February Goals
Holy sh!t.
Can anyone of you actually believe it is the 2nd month of the year already? Because personally, I think this is all just a dream. Honestly, how could it be February already?!?!
Well, at least January went by quickly because as I mentioned in my January Goals post, January is probably the toughest month of the year. Speaking of goals, today I am, of course, here to update you on my February Goals.
A wonderful motto for this month that I'm going to stick to is:
"Never stop trying. Never stop believing. Never give up"
Let this be a reminder to every single one of us. No matter what you want to achieve in your life, never stop until you're somewhere you want to be :)
Here are my February goals.
1. Write and blog more
Let's face it, I was rubbish at blogging in January as you can tell from the amount of posts I've created but things are going to change from here on out and that, my dear friends, is a promise!
2. Film more videos
Videos are slightly more terrifying for me but I've been really consistent with them and my YouTube channel too. You can check out my latest video and subscribe to my channel because that would honestly make me so so happy :)
3. Have a healthier lifestyle
Meaning eat healthy, which I am going to try my very best at! And also exercise more!
4. Travel
Wish I could make travel an every month activity. I'll work on that :)
5. Pass my probation and focus more on work
Yes, I have been slacking off on work a bit but hey, no more!
Monthly goals have been helping me keep track of my progress. So, what are you waiting for? Create your February goals today.

1.5 DAYS
What would you do if you only had a day and a half with the people you love?
What would you talk about?
What would all of you do together?
Good evening all you lovely people out there.
I just got back from a 2-day-trip not long ago. And I was feeling under the weather last week and I know that's not an excuse to go on a hiatus but just thought you should know why I disappeared for a week. Loads of crazy things happened last week and my brain could not fathom and take everything in and that was also one of the reasons I disappeared (more on that much later on though). I do apologize for the hiatus but I'm back now and I've got some cool and exciting posts coming up :)
So, back to my questions.
What would you do if you only had 1.5 days with the people you love? Or 1.5 hours for that matter?
In my opinion, time is and always will be a limiting factor. There's never enough time when it comes to the people you love.
My trip this time was to meet up with 2 of my uncles and also my brother. I haven't met my uncles for over 3 years now. They live in Sydney and I was in the UK for 3 years so it was almost impossible for a meet up. But we were all fortunate enough to meet up back here in Malaysia.
Why only 1.5 days?
Because that was all the time we were given. Not by me, not by them. Not by anyone. Not by any choice.
Here is what I did on the 1.5 days I had with them.
First of all, I didn't go all out and to the extreme to make it "the trip of my life". I didn't spend my time making unending lists of things to do with them. I didn't make any crazy plans.
Instead, I spent those days chilling with them. We spent time enjoying each other's company. And because we haven't seen each other in such a long time, I, for one, honestly didn't know where to begin or what topic to dive into first because there's just so much to talk about. But eventually, it's just enjoying our time together and talking about whatever that comes to mind.
Random subjects, life in general, catching up, little gossip sessions every now and again, crazy jokes. Everything.
One of the things I've come to realize about myself as I grow older is that I appreciate and enjoy every moment spent with my loved ones more, whether it's talking absolute nonsense or saying nothing at all, and cherish all the memories I can ever get, whether it's through camera or through myself.
Everything that needs to be said and done will not necessarily be said and done at the end of the day. But it's just the company and comfort you get when you're spending time together that matters. And that, honestly, is more than enough for me.
What would you do? :)

TOP 5 DELICIOUS FOOD
Good evening all you foodies out there :)
As most of you would know, I have been travelling a lot lately which can only mean ONE obvious thing - FOOOOOOOD.
I was inspired to write this post when I was looking through my whole travel photo album earlier today. As I've mentioned in my previous post, I have been to loads of different restaurants in the past couple of weeks and my "restaurant of the month" post was almost impossible for me to write. So, I decided to write another post on all the amazing food I've tried so far. I feel like I really need to do these dishes justice by writing about them. Haha!
Like all good things - GOOD FOOD need to be shared!
AMPERSAND by CULINARY REBELS
MY PERSONAL OPINION: BEST MEAT COMBO
I came here back in July with my brother and a few of his mates. Honestly, the effort they put in your food can definitely be seen on your plate. The menu is obviously all about the meat. I can't remember all the names of the dishes but I remember all of us ordering all the specials which include pork, beef, chicken and lamb. The ambiance of the restaurant suits the food that they serve perfectly. The setting and decor are very modernized. And here's a little fun fact (well, for me, at least) : Ampersand means the logo "&".
KGB
MY PERSONAL OPINION: BEST BURGER AND FRIES
I came here recently with my brother. Basically, the restaurant's motto is "Because Life is too Short for a Bad Burger". And hell to the yes, I completely agree with that. The fries that they serve though, was the highlight for me, to be completely honest with you. I have never forced myself to ever finish a portion of fries that I could not finish. With these fries though, even though I knew I was full, I just wanted more! Yes, it is THAT good.
NAJ & BELLE
MY PERSONAL OPINION: BEST DESSERTS
I think all of you would know by now that desserts are my absolute fave! I mean, in a 3-course-meal, I would rather give up the mains and go for the desserts instead. And I have my desserts before and after my meal. Yes, that is how much I love 'em. And for me to name this place the best place for desserts IS actually saying something. All I can say to you is : TRY THE WATERMELON CAKE BECAUSE IT IS DIVINE!
IPPUDO
MY PERSONAL OPINION: BEST RAMEN
When it comes to Japanese cuisine, I normally just go for sushi. I have actually had a couple of ramens from different Japanese restaurants before and I was never too keen on them. So, when my friend suggested this place, I was feeling a little meh. But I decided to give it a go anyway because I wanted to try it. Holy heck! That ramen was beautiful.
IKEA MEATBALLS
MY PERSONAL OPINION: BEST MEATBALLS (duh!)
I felt really left out when probably 99% of the people that I know have actually tried IKEA meatballs. So, I made it a mission to give it a go on my previous trip. I remembered feeling absolutely stuffed from breakfast and my brother decided to go for a walk in IKEA. And I said to him "right, we are going for meatballs and I don't care if you have them or not, but I'm having Swedish meatballs today!" Some people may think it's overrated but in my opinion, they are probably the best meatballs I've ever tasted in my entire life. The cranberry sauce just makes it perfect. Absolutely gorgeous.
So, that concludes my top 5 food I've tried so far!
Do give these places a go if you are ever in Kuala Lumpur. Trust me, you will not regret it.
