What would you do if you only had a day and a half with the people you love?
What would you talk about?
What would all of you do together?
Good evening all you lovely people out there.
I just got back from a 2-day-trip not long ago. And I was feeling under the weather last week and I know that's not an excuse to go on a hiatus but just thought you should know why I disappeared for a week. Loads of crazy things happened last week and my brain could not fathom and take everything in and that was also one of the reasons I disappeared (more on that much later on though). I do apologize for the hiatus but I'm back now and I've got some cool and exciting posts coming up :)
So, back to my questions.
What would you do if you only had 1.5 days with the people you love? Or 1.5 hours for that matter?
In my opinion, time is and always will be a limiting factor. There's never enough time when it comes to the people you love.
My trip this time was to meet up with 2 of my uncles and also my brother. I haven't met my uncles for over 3 years now. They live in Sydney and I was in the UK for 3 years so it was almost impossible for a meet up. But we were all fortunate enough to meet up back here in Malaysia.
Why only 1.5 days?
Because that was all the time we were given. Not by me, not by them. Not by anyone. Not by any choice.
Here is what I did on the 1.5 days I had with them.
First of all, I didn't go all out and to the extreme to make it "the trip of my life". I didn't spend my time making unending lists of things to do with them. I didn't make any crazy plans.
Instead, I spent those days chilling with them. We spent time enjoying each other's company. And because we haven't seen each other in such a long time, I, for one, honestly didn't know where to begin or what topic to dive into first because there's just so much to talk about. But eventually, it's just enjoying our time together and talking about whatever that comes to mind.
Random subjects, life in general, catching up, little gossip sessions every now and again, crazy jokes. Everything.
One of the things I've come to realize about myself as I grow older is that I appreciate and enjoy every moment spent with my loved ones more, whether it's talking absolute nonsense or saying nothing at all, and cherish all the memories I can ever get, whether it's through camera or through myself.
Everything that needs to be said and done will not necessarily be said and done at the end of the day. But it's just the company and comfort you get when you're spending time together that matters. And that, honestly, is more than enough for me.
What would you do? :)

FAVOURITE HOLIDAY OUTFIT
"What do you feel most comfortable in when you're on holiday? What kind of outfit do you like most when you're going on vacation? Do you prefer comfort over looks?" - These are all the sorts of questions that go through my head when I'm packing for a trip.
Good evening my lovely readers
I hope you're all having a good start to the week so far. In other words, I hope Monday is not being to rough on you :)
As most of you would know, I went on a 3-night holiday last week with my friend. I was just looking through some of the pictures I took from holiday and I suddenly had this post in mind.
Holiday is the time when you can dress up, be outrages and crazy with outfits, put on something you've never dared to put on, etc. because no one knows who you are and no one gives a crap about how you look. If I'm being completely honest, this is one of the reasons I absolutely love travelling.
I have been absolutely loving this summer playsuit from New Look. It's airy and it's colourful - enough said.
It's very chilled, casual, and comfortable. The 3C's :) This playsuit is my most worn outfit from the holiday and it is also my favourite outfit so far.

Thought I'd add a silly pic of myself at the end to make this post more chilled :)

DISCONNECTING FOR 24 HOURS + SUNRISE
Good evening my lovely readers
I'm back again after a short hiatus. I guess I just can't keep away from my blog :)
As most of you may know, I've traveled more than 24 hours to get to my destination now, which is Bali, Indonesia. I think the last time I've visited this place was 13 years ago. Everything has changed. I'm surprised how much this place has developed and evolved.
Anyway, we decided to stay in Ubud, Bali, for a night. We stayed in a villa. And by villa, I mean, complete disconnection from the internet - which also means, no Wi-Fi, no electronic devices, absolutely nothing.
Of course, it doesn't mean sitting around all day doing nothing.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole nature part of this trip. I think I really needed that because I've been so caught up with my life that I don't really get to disconnect from the world and disconnect from social media accounts.
I didn't plan anything for this. I just wanted to have a day of total disconnection.
So basically, we just walked around the city (it is a really small city, trust me), explored the city, had some food, went to a local cafe nearby, chilled in the villa, and witnessed a sunrise.
The sunrise was absolutely stunning! Probably one of the most incredible things I've ever seen in my life.
Here are some of the pictures I managed to take since I woke up pretty early for these. Enjoy :)

I mean, just look at those volcanic mountains. Now, I can officially say I've witnessed a sunrise in one of the most nature-filled country. Or a foreign country :)
I also think it's nice to switch off for a while and enjoy what's around you. Not too long though because I was reaching for my phone after probably 26 hours :D
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend X

SECRET GARDEN + CHILLING WITH MY DOG
Good morning my lovely readers
I have both good news and bad news for you. Good news is that Monday is over, bad news is that it's only Tuesday today :(
I have quite a chilled out post today. After all, it was Monday yesterday and as much as I want to make Mondays more interesting, it's just not possible (LOL)! Well, at least I tried.
DAY 4 OF MY LITTLE ADVENTURES: SECRET GARDEN + CHILLING WITH CUTIE ZAC
I got a colouring-in book for Christmas and I've only touched it once which was before New Year's Day. Since then, I kept it at the bottom of my table because I've just been so busy with work and life and never had the time to think about colouring-in or actually colouring-in.
I decided to take it out again because I feel like I need more colours in my life (as cheesy as that sounds). I find that that book calms me down and kills time. It also looks good no matter what colour you choose. I mean, I coloured a leaf blue instead of green and it still looks awesome. Haha! You'll see what I mean.
I got kind of hooked after finishing the first page so I picked a few more to colour-in. Not going to lie, took up 3-4 hours of my time. And then I stopped because I got a little stressed out. I mean, colouring for an hour or so is fun but not so much when it's 4 hours :P
SOMETHING I ENJOY: COLOURING AND BEING CREATIVE
I then decided to chill out in the sitting room with my (technically, my housemate's) dog, Zac. I feel like I don't spend enough time with him. I don't want to miss him too much when I leave. I mean, I've got 2 dogs back at home and I miss them so much everyday.
SOMETHING I LOVE: DOGS AND SPENDING TIME WITH THEM
